Congratulations to our 2022 President-Elect & 2022 Treasurer!
The Orange County REALTORS® Board of Directors held an election on Wednesday, July 7th to elect our 2022 officers. Congratulations to our newly elected 2022 President-Elect, Scott White, and our 2022 Treasurer, Joyce Endo.
Scott White, 2022 President-Elect:
Scott’s Southern California roots run deep, have been born and raised here. After finishing up at the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business, Scott had a desire to positively impact the lives of others. He soon discovered his natural talent for building relationships, sales, and leading teams of associates to success in business. Eventually, he realized these skills could make real estate an prime career choice. Along with his vast knowledge of Orange County real estate, Scott's education equips him with the skills to perfectly match individuals and families with homes that best suit their needs. Also, through his involvement with 12 years serving on numerous Orange County REALTORS® committees, nearly 6 years on the Board of Directors for the Orange County REALTORS®, 7 years on The California Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors, and a year on National Association of REALTORS® Board, clients receive timely and accurate industry insights.
In addition to holding a current California Department of Real Estate license, Scott holds an SFR designation (Short-Sale and Foreclosure Resource) and the Green Designation from the National Association of REALTORS®. These designations allows Scott the keen ability to navigate complicated transactions with top-notch service and guidance.
Scott and his wife of 35 years have two fantastic grown sons, two amazing daughters-in-law and a slightly insane Golden Retriever puppy. His passion for cycling dates back to his 10th birthday. He has not stopped riding since his first 10-speed he received as a birthday gift that year. He has been an active, contributing member of the community around Aliso Viejo and Laguna Niguel for more than three decades.
Joyce Endo, 2022 Treasurer:
Joyce Endo’s first career was as a registered nurse and unit manager, responsible for managing budgets and mentoring team members regarding patient care. Her introduction to real estate was as a buyer three times and then as a seller four times in fewer than five years. Joyce learned from these experiences that she had a knack for negotiating and pricing—and realized that the critical thinking, communication, and coordination skills she had developed as a nurse might be applicable to real estate!
First licensed as a real estate agent in 2005, Joyce joined Orange County REALTORS® in that same year and has since served on several committees, including Education, Finance, Local Government Relations North, Multiple Listing Service, and Political Affairs and Elections. In addition, she was president of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Coastal-West Orange County Network in 2017 and is a director of the Orange County Chapter of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA).
In 2016, Joyce successfully sought a position on the OC REALTORS® Board of Directors because she believed that her skills in strategic planning and implementation, public relations, communications, marketing, and event planning would make her an asset to the Association. Honored by OC REALTORS® as 2020 REALTOR® of the Year, she is currently serving as 2021 Treasurer. In May, the California Association of REALTORS® featured Joyce among Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) leaders.
