Be Ready! Implement Practice Changes by August 17

Some Upcoming Key Dates and Deadlines:

 

ACTION REQUIRED AUGUST 17:

  • Deadline for REALTOR® MLSs to implement policy changes pursuant to mandatory NAR policy,
  • New NAR MLS Policy takes effect to implement practice changes,
  • Earliest date for Plaintiffs to issue class notice.


 

FORM CHANGES:

C.A.R. released several new and revised standard forms on July 24, 2024. To be in compliance by August 17, when the mandates of the NAR settlement go into effect, it is imperative that members are ready to use the new forms and prepared to discuss the changes with their clients. C.A.R. will be providing training opportunities to members on the use of these forms.

C.A.R. is hosting several training sessions NOW – click HERE for dates/times and to register. Have your NRDS ID ready to register.

NAR is offering the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) Designation to all REALTOR® members for FREE. The ABR® is a prestigious designation in the real estate industry that signifies expertise and excellence in buyer representation. It equips agents with the necessary skills and resources, including how to secure and explain a buyer representation agreement, in order to represent homebuyers' needs effectively throughout the real estate transaction process.
